Rainleader™ for Low Impact Development (LID)
Certainly stormwater control for most site development projects is becoming more challenging given ever-increasing regulation aimed at protecting our natural resources and the environment. Today we find that many of the traditional methods of collection, storage and surface discharge are no longer desired and/or feasible. On this basis, Low Impact Development (LID) is instead becoming the method of choice for design and construction of stormwater control systems for most types of development projects.
The RainLeader™ system may offer significantly more flexibility in regards to your project alternatives for site surfacing and drainage system design beyond the typical standard LID techniques such as bioretention cells or porous pavement. It is fully approved for use on your project because it has the highest approval rating from the WA Department of Ecology Technology Assessment Protocol (TAPE) Program, i.e., General Use Level Designation, through the use of the StormFilter® system.
